List your Rust server with its wipe schedule front and centre

Vanilla, 2x, 5x, PvE or creative build: a free public page that announces your wipe cadence, measures your uptime live and gives your community a wall and announcements to survive between two resets.

Core concept

Find a group or recruit players with a Lobby

On Zlobby, you do not just browse profiles. You create a Lobby with a goal, criteria and a discussion space to gather the right people around a specific mission.

Lobby creation

Recruit players for a guild, team or event

A Lobby announces what you want to build: ranked roster, MMO guild, TTRPG table, Discord squad, carpool or convention group.

Members apply, you filter by criteria, then the group starts with a dedicated chat.

On Rust, everything starts with the wipe

A player comparing Rust servers asks three questions before anything else: when is the wipe, how often, and are blueprints kept. A listing that clearly shows the cadence — weekly, bi-weekly, or aligned with the monthly forced wipe — avoids the bad surprises that empty a server as fast as it filled up.

Zlobby measures your server's availability and latency through the Source query protocol (A2S), the same one the ecosystem's monitoring tools use. Player count, name and map remain values declared by the server, labelled as such on the listing.

What your listing usefully announces

Wipe cadence

Day, frequency and blueprint policy in the announcements: the first thing a player checks.

Modifiers and mods

Vanilla, gather rates, group limits (solo/duo/trio), Oxide or Carbon plugins: the gameplay contract.

Live measured status

Uptime and latency queried regularly — a stable server shows, wipe after wipe.

A persistent community

Public wall and announcements: the map is erased at wipe, your community shouldn't be.

Address, query port and protections

The probe queries your server's query port — on Rust this is usually the game port itself, 28015 by default. If your host uses a dedicated query port, enter that one. DDoS protections must let inbound A2S queries through, otherwise the listing will show an offline server while it's actually running.

Ownership is proven before publishing — DNS TXT record or manual verification — then the listing is managed from the operator console and appears in the Rust server directory.

Say which crowd your server is for

A solo/duo/trio server at vanilla rates and a no-group-limit 5x attract very different players. State the group limits, whether moderation is active, the tolerance for aggressive roaming and the general chat atmosphere. Adults who play a few evenings a week look for exactly this — and many go through find Rust players to build their team before choosing a server.

The base listing is free, with no time limit. Weekly featuring in credits changes your position in the directory, never the data: status history is measured the same way for every server, featured or not.

Frequent questions from Rust operators

Do I need an Oxide or Carbon plugin to be listed?
No. The probe uses standard A2S queries, active on any dedicated Rust server. Plugins are only about your gameplay.
How do I show my wipe schedule?
In the description and through the listing's announcements. Publishing the next wipe announcement in advance is the best way to fill the server on day one.
My server is modded — should I say so?
Yes. Rates, kits, group limits and game-changing plugins belong on the listing: discovering them in-game is a disappointment paid for in bad reviews.
What does the listing show when the server restarts at wipe?
The measured offline status during the restart, then the return online. A short dip at wipe is normal and reads as such in the history.
Is Zlobby affiliated with Facepunch Studios?
No. Zlobby is independent; Rust and Facepunch Studios belong to their respective owners.
