Find a Rust team that lasts more than one wipe
Solo by default, not by choice? Share your schedule, your style — farming, PvP, building — and your play hours, then meet adults starting the same wipe as you.
Find a group or recruit players with a Lobby
On Zlobby, you do not just browse profiles. You create a Lobby with a goal, criteria and a discussion space to gather the right people around a specific mission.
Lobby creation
Recruit players for a guild, team or event
A Lobby announces what you want to build: ranked roster, MMO guild, TTRPG table, Discord squad, carpool or convention group.
Members apply, you filter by criteria, then the group starts with a dedicated chat.

On Rust, compatibility is about rhythm
A Rust team almost never breaks over PvP skill: it breaks over rhythm. The player farming three hours a night and the one logging in on Saturday are not living the same wipe. Before looking for teammates, state your play hours honestly, whether you'll be there on wipe day, and what you want out of mid-wipe, when the base is up and the map gets tense.
Zlobby doesn't connect to Steam and doesn't verify play hours: information is declared and exists for introductions, not rankings.
What makes a Rust team click
Wipe-day presence
The first evening decides position and base: say whether you'll be there, and for how many hours.
Group size
Solo/duo/trio on a limited server or a larger group: the format changes the whole game.
Owned roles
Farmer, builder, PvP roamer, electrician: a team that splits the work lasts longer.
Voice-chat tone
Calm under pressure or full shouting match: the 3 a.m. raid reveals a group's real tone.
Pick the server together, not after the fact
Half of all team conflicts come from a server disagreement: vanilla or 2x, group limit, weekly or bi-weekly wipe, modded or not. Agree on those criteria before day one. Zlobby's Rust server directory shows wipe cadence and measured status for listed servers — a shared starting point for the decision.
If you run a server yourself, you can also list it for free.
A Rust Lobby: the team before the beach spawn
Create a Lobby with the target server, the wipe cadence, your play hours and the open spots. Applications let you read who's applying before sharing base position or door codes — information you only give to people you chose.
Start by creating your Zlobby account, free and adults-only.
Avoid teams that burn out in three days
Groups that implode before the wipe ends usually share the same profile: rushed recruiting in a global chat, no rules about loot sharing, and a self-appointed leader treating components like a personal stash. Writing three simple rules — who manages shared loot, who calls raids, what happens when a base is lost — filters out most of it.
