Who this notice is for

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies specifically to California residents. Zlobby is operated from the European Union by Emeric Mathis EI (SIREN 932 467 939, 14 rue Cassini, 84300 Cavaillon, France) and applies the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) to all of its users. For California residents, we additionally recognise the CCPA/CPRA rights described below.

We do not sell your personal information.

Zlobby does not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We also do not « share » your information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose personal information to service providers (processors) strictly to operate the service, for example:

• Vercel Inc. (USA): application hosting;
• Supabase Inc. (Singapore): database, authentication, photo storage;
• Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (Ireland): payment processing (subscriptions and credits). Zlobby never stores your card;
• Anthropic PBC (USA): automated AI moderation of content and photos (Claude);
• Resend Inc. (USA): sending transactional emails.

Categories of information collected

Over the past 12 months, depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

• Identifiers: email address, username, date of birth;
• Profile data: profile photo (mandatory at sign-up) and gallery, bio, gender, interests, favourite games and manga/anime, optional fields;
• Sensitive personal information (see below): sexual orientation, beliefs, approximate geolocation, when you choose to provide them;
• Commercial activity: purchase history of credits, Pro and Legend subscriptions, cosmetics;
• Service activity: likes, matches, messages, lobbies, posts, comments, reactions, reports;
• Technical data: IP address (hashed in our logs), browser and device type, preferred language, session cookies;
• Moderation data: content and photos submitted for AI analysis, decisions and reasons (kept as an audit trail).

Your rights as a California resident

• Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share.
• Right to delete your personal information.
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don't sell anyway).
• Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
• Right to non-discrimination when exercising any of the above rights.

Exercise your rights

You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account:

• Right to know & data portability: Settings > Download my data
• Right to delete: Settings > Delete my account
• Right to correct: edit your profile from Settings.
• For any other request (limit use of sensitive PI, formal written CCPA request), email us at contact@zlobby.com with the subject line « CCPA request ». We respond within 45 days (extendable by a further 45 days where necessary, with prior notice).

Authorised agents

You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. We'll require written authorisation and may verify both the agent's identity and your own before acting on the request.

Sensitive personal information (CPRA)

Some fields are sensitive personal information: sexual orientation, religious beliefs or opinions, precise geolocation, and data that may reveal health status (neurodivergence). They are always optional and collected only with your explicit consent, for the sole purpose of operating the service (in particular the dating feature, which is itself a separate opt-in from the social network). We do not infer any characteristics about you from this data and do not use it for any other purpose. You can remove them at any time from your profile.

Automated AI moderation

To keep the platform safe, the content you publish (text, profile and gallery photos, posts, comments, private and lobby messages) is automatically analysed by an artificial intelligence service (Claude, provided by Anthropic PBC, USA). You have the right to human review of any automated decision and may contest it within 30 days. See also our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
