How to find a reliable ranked duo

For one player, reliability means being available three evenings a week. For another, it means giving notice, staying respectful and reviewing mistakes calmly. Write down those expectations before searching.

Separate the goal from the result. Improving is a controllable goal; guaranteeing a particular rank is not. Say whether you want a fast climb, role practice, amateur competition or simply an alternative to solo queue.

Plan two or three trial sessions. The first mostly reveals stress; later sessions show punctuality, adaptation and how each person handles a losing streak.

After a session, ask one simple question: “What should we keep and what should we change?” A specific answer is more useful than vague praise. If goals differ, stopping early is healthier than forcing a duo that frustrates both players.
