Valheim · Co-op · No pressure

Find Valheim companions for a world that lasts

Explore, build, prepare for bosses — at an adult's pace. Share your progression and your time slots, then join a shared world where nobody rushes and nobody gets left behind.

Core concept

Find a group or recruit players with a Lobby

On Zlobby, you do not just browse profiles. You create a Lobby with a goal, criteria and a discussion space to gather the right people around a specific mission.

Lobby creation

Recruit players for a guild, team or event

A Lobby announces what you want to build: ranked roster, MMO guild, TTRPG table, Discord squad, carpool or convention group.

Members apply, you filter by criteria, then the group starts with a dedicated chat.

Valheim plays best slowly, and together

It's a game of evenings around the fire: you come back from a swamp expedition, unload the iron, fix the roof, plan the next boss. That loop works when the group moves forward roughly together — not when one player has already killed Yagluth while the others are discovering the Black Forest.

Say where you are in the progression and what you enjoy most: exploring, building, farming, fighting. The best Valheim groups mix those profiles instead of looking for four clones.

What makes a good Valheim group

Aligned progression

A fresh world together or joining an existing one: be clear about where you stand.

Regular sessions

One or two fixed evenings a week is enough — regularity matters more than volume.

Complementary roles

Builder, explorer, cook, boss-slayer: everyone enjoys their part, the world benefits.

World rules

Shared chests, building zones, possible mods: a clear contract avoids disappointments.

Player-hosted world or dedicated server?

A player-hosted world only exists while its host is online — perfect for a duo with synchronised schedules, frustrating for a group with varied ones. A dedicated server stays open around the clock: everyone progresses a little when they can, and shared evenings are for expeditions and bosses.

Zlobby's Valheim server directory lists dedicated servers with live measured status. And if you host your own, you can list it for free.

A Valheim Lobby: your social base camp

Create a Lobby describing the world, its progression, the play evenings and the open spots. Applications let you choose who joins a world where everything is shared — in a game where a stranger can empty the chests, choosing your companions isn't a luxury.

Create your Zlobby account — free, adults-only — and describe the world you want to build.

Group comfort comes before optimisation

Valheim attracts many players who are precisely escaping competition: say so upfront if your group plays relaxed, tolerates weeks-long breaks or uses comfort mods. Conversely, a group aiming for no-death or hardcore runs should say it from the start. Both styles are legitimate; mixing them unknowingly ruins both.

Valheim frequently asked questions

Do I need a dedicated server to play with a Zlobby group?
No, a player-hosted world is enough to start. A dedicated server becomes useful when the group's schedules diverge.
Can I join a world that's already far along?
Yes, many groups take in newcomers mid-run. Ask where the progression stands to avoid having biomes spoiled.
Are mods a problem?
They just need to be announced: a client without the server's mods won't connect properly. The group shares its list and install guide.
What if I mostly play to build?
Say it: most worlds dream of a motivated builder. Specify whether you want materials supplied or farm them yourself.
Is Zlobby affiliated with Iron Gate?
No. Zlobby is independent; Valheim and Iron Gate Studio belong to their respective owners.
